Unable to past when cutting from conversation

Hi... this is new in 2.4.1...

When I select text in the conversation window, Ctrl+Ins or right-click/Copy
does not seem to properly copy the selected text to the clipboard.

I can paste it in to the input window, then select and cut from there it and
it works... but I can't cut directly from the conversation window any
more...
