MSN spamming messages

Hello,

I just recently started using Pidgin at work ( I mainly use Adium at home).
I receive spam messages from users I don't know several times an hour
through my MSN protocol. I don't recall this behavior in Adium but I suspect
there is a setting I need to change. Can anyone point me to the correct spot
to block these messages?
