offline messages

Hi,

Thanks very much for the reply.

I've built version 2.5.2 from source on debian lenny. However, offline
messages didn't pop up when I signed in. I then rebooted into windows
and opened windows live messenger. It came up with about 8 offline
messages. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Do I need to change some
option or have some plugin installed?

Also how can I test that I can actually send offline messages and they
are getting through? 

Also, with 2.5.2 I seem to be getting ssl errors sometimes, but when I
hit the close button everything works fine. So yeah the only thing that
isn't working is offline messages. As I said I'm using the msn
protocol. 

Any ideas?
