Pidgin - URL links generate error

When I click on a link someone sends me, i get an error that reads

"www.google.com

Application Not Found"

I have Firefox, IE, Chrome, etc installed ...





Now I read somewhere that there's a section under Tools, Preferences,
Browser where I can fix this, or under the network tab .. but none of those
sections have anything that reads Browser. Any ideas?
