Pidgin does not reconnect automaticaly...

You haven't provided any information that might be useful to figure
out why it disconnects - you haven't even specified which protocol was
involved.  A debug log might be useful.

It will retry automatically at a random interval in the range of 8 - 60 seconds.

It is going to be far more useful to figure out why it is
disconnecting than to try to hack it to reconnect more quickly.
