Will Pidgin 2.5.3 for Windows be repaired any time soon?

Since building Pidgin on Windows involves using Monotone for Pidgin,
different sources (other than, like, CVS or SVN), all kinds of
software, instructions and tutorials - for the uninitiated - can
anyone say if it would be possible to expect a working version (no pun
intended) of Pidgin for Windows any time soon?
