Some problems with MSN connection

I have only seen such errors myself when there has been poor network
connectivity. Is there something about your internet connection that would
hamper the connection?
1, Do you have proxies?
2, Is your connection to the network stable?
3, Which operating system are you using?
4, Do you have a large number of contacts?
5, Do you have a large number of chats open at once?
6, Do you have any plugins installed which did not come with Pidgin?
It maybe hard to capture but if it happens at a (semi)predictable time you could
open the "Debug window" on the Help menu, which will give a more detailed view
of what Pidgin is doing behind the scenes.
