MSN 'unable to retrieve MSN Address Book'

Hi,
 
maybe this can help:
 
On Ubuntu 8.04.1 - Pidgin 2.4.1 => OK, working. The client connects to MSN.

On Windows XP - Pidgin 2.5.2 => FAILED: Unable to retrieve MSN Address Book (In french: Impossible de récupérer le carnet d'adresses MSN).
