IM in Vista

HelloI have an office environment where we use mainly mac's. However, there
is one machine that runs XP, another Vista and a last one Ubuntu. Pidgin
works great in all except Vista.
I'm unable to see my buddy list at all. Any suggestions on how to make it
work in Vista Home?
