FW: FW: pidgin question

I am using pidgin and sometimes when I add a buddy it is fine, often
though I add them and it says they are "not on the server list".

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

I asked what sort of account because I knew that without that
information, no one would be able to help, but I do not know why you
cannot connect, so I cc'ed the support list in hopes that someone else
