Hi ,

Thanks for developing such a nice application.
I am using pidgin 2.5.5, on windows, I am using LAN connection to connect to
internet.
By using all default setting for yahoo, it is showing me error as Connection
Refused for Yahoo and Gtalk.

I tried using Global proxy,no proxy it didn't worke for me, I also tried to
flush DNS even that didn't work.I also tried adding Pidgin in windows
Firewall, that also not worked. i pinged "scs.msg.yahoo.com" from command
promt, it is able to connect.

I have another VPN connection that uses IP of canada, when i dial that
connection all default settings worked for me for yahoo and gtalk.

I am not sure why it is not working for India LAN, Yes I do have Proxy
server.

Even Gtalk was not working but , i changed settings as follow and it started
working
Force OLD SSL
Connection port :443
Conn Server :talk.google.com

*Can you tell me how to configure pidgin for proxy server or Pager server
port and other details for india*

Following is stack trace.
