IM notifications for specific buddies?

If this functionality does not exist, then I would like to suggest it - even
though I'm not sure where the best place is to send suggestions (?)

It would be great if new message notifications could be set to only make
sounds/ or more preferably: only make the IM window blink if specified
buddies send you a message.
