Pidgin buddy list question

Thanks.  I'm using Pidgin 2.6.3 -- but the Guifications plugin appears
to work only with 2.0.0.  Am I looking in the wrong place?

To the best of my knowledge, there is not, but you could use the
Guifications
plugin to have "toaster" style notifications for events such as this.
