pidgin on android

I have a htc magic running the android os.  I'm trying to connect up with an
internal messenger system we have at my work which we all use pidgin on our
laptops to connect to it.  Its using the xmpp protocol.  Any ideas of how to
get pidgin running on my android phone?  any help would be great.
