Problems with Pidgin and Gadu-Gadu protocole

There have been a lot of improvements to our Gadu-Gadu support that are
scheduled for release in Pidgin 2.7.0.  We are expecting to release 2.7.0 soon,
but don't have a firm date for it.  Please watch for the release and give it a
try.  I believe it will solve (or at the very least help significantly) your
problem.
