What protocols?

You've answered /a/ question, but not really both of *my* questions.
And for the record, saying "[this happens in] all the versions I've
used" is supremely unhelpful, because it doesn't give me (or anyone not
you) information about what those versions are! When reporting a bug,
be *specific*:
* List exact versions.
* If something has been going on for a period of time, give your best
estimate as to how long it's been (or the range of versions).
* List [all] the protocol(s) being impacted (unless you're absolutely
positively 150% sure it's not a protocol issue)
Anyway, there's a reason I specifically mentioned 2.7.3. This is a
known bug with MSN that was fixed in that release. If it's happening
with other protocols, you'll need to provide more details about the
protocols in question.
