Problems

After loading the pidgin software I get 2 errors.
1.	Glib-ERROR**:This version of Glib requires NT-based windows.
2.	Runtime Error! Program:C:\Program~1\Pidgin\pidgin.exe
Any help you can give me is much appreciated.
