Pidgin on Windows 98

There is no chance.  Pidgin 2.7.x and newer require a newer version of GTK+
which has requirements that Windows NT 4, Windows ME, Windows 98, and Windows 95
simply cannot meet.  If you can't or won't upgrade Windows, you can't upgrade
Pidgin.
