Customer issues with AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) account working in Pidgin

Hello,



I like Pidgin but am going to have to uninstall the application and switch
to something else if I cannot get my AIM account to work.



When I use AIM quick buddy the account is still active and working
properly.



I’ve included a screenshot below to show the issue I’m experiencing upon
log-in.  Please advise.  Thank you
