I need help

I’m Oracle user and we’re using our pidgin. I’ve the problem bec’ I can’t see my on-line colleagues in my list. What I’ve to do is I’ve to show all off-line colleagues. When I ping my colleagues, the pidgin shows me the status of my colleague as off-line. I try to reinstall it, but it’s still same. Please advise what did I do wrong. Thanks!
