Problem connecting to MSN behind proxy

Hi,

The guy who does network support for us recently set up an HTTP proxy server
on our network. Since then, I can't connect to MSN using Pidgin. The Windows
Messenger client works.

I've searched all over the pidgin site (including bug reports) and the
internet, and nothing suggested works.

We're using Win XP machines on a Novell network, proxy is Novell
BorderManager.

Logs for connection attempts are at the bottom of the email. Trying with no
proxy results in a DNS error. Changing the port doesn't help.

Any ideas on what to do?
