help, I'm locked out

I am new to pidgin. We are using it to correspond instantly with others on our team. I downloaded the program and attempted to use my information from Yahoo. Evidently, I have been locked out of pidgin because even though my Yahoo was closed out, apparently, I had it marked to save my password and thus I could not get pidgin to recognize my information. Now, when signing on to pidgin it says I am locked out.  The message that I get is that my account is enabled and locked out because of too many login attempts. It tells me to login in to Yahoo and that may help.  I have logged in successfully to Yahoo and then signed off of yahoo and tried again at pidgin to no avail.  I have signed out of Yahoo. So what do I do next? Where or who do I contact to get my account at pidgin unlocked?
