Can't login to GTalk

Hey everyone,

I'm having trouble connecting to GTalk. I don't receive any specific message
other than "Unable to connect". The odd thing is that if I'm connected to a
VPN, then Pidgin can connect to GTalk. It's only when I'm going through my
normal DSL connection where I have trouble. It seems as if my router may be
blocking port 5222 but I checked and didn't see it.

Any advice on what to do here?
