Unable to change Language in Pidgin

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have tried several times to install Pidgin under Windows XP. All the time i choose the language "Deutsch" (=German) at the beginning of the Installation, and when I start Pidgin, it is in English. All the messages that I recieve are in an HTML-Code or something, and I am unable to change that.

On another Computer Pidgin is running perfectly, and I like it.

Can you help me?
