Pidgin crashes when I start it up.

It seems like your profile might be corrupt somehow.  Your profile will be
stored in "%APPDATA%/.purple". If you open an explorer window and paste
that in, you should see all of your pidgin profile files.  Try going back
one directory and renaming the .purple folder to something like
.purple.bak, and then starting pidgin again.  Let us know if that works or
not, if so, you might need to start with a new profile if it is not easily
apparent what the problem is with your previous one.
