U3 is being phased out*.
You can get the latest version (currently 2.7.9) of Pidgin in portable format here:

Hello :)

My name is Zofia, I am writing to you beacause I have a little problem, namely I use Pidgin on my pendrive from

SanDisk Cruzer, on U3 platform. I was very happy when I installed it onto my drive, it was a lot of time ago, but now

my Pidgin have an issues, well I am from Poland, and I logged on Gadu-Gadu account, recently I cannot chat with my friends, which I added recently they can't write anything to me too. I do not know what is wrong, maybe is available any of update? I am using Pidgin which version is 2.6.1.0

Well I looked for updates for u3, but I did not find anything :( can you help me? I really think that is your software is great, but what, when I can't chat with my new friends :( early everythig was ok, but now I do not know what is wrong.
