Contact Search Issue

Hi,

I am contacting you guys because I am having a big problem to properly use
Pidgin.

I use pidgin to several IM (jabber, ICQ, gtalk, MSN, Sametime for work and
even Facebook now) so I have lots of contacts (around 800) and I believe
that this integration is one of the purposes of pidgin.

The problem is to Search a contact has become an impossible task, because
the search doesn't work in collapsed groups (closed groups). I tried to find
plugins for it and I couldn't find a single one for this!

I don't think it is a Bug, but as a user, I consider a real pity being
capable of search only in expanded groups (open groups).
