Clean-up of Groups

I am attempting to clean-up my list of groups that I place people into.

 

A review of the online help does not provide information on this task.

 

I have approx. 15 groups listed on a context menu that I can move people
into but I only use 5 of them.  How do I remove the ones that I do not
need??
