Pidgin with XMPP and LDAP - problem with underscore in domain name

Hi,

I'm trying to use Pidgin with my own XMPP server (running openfire and
connected to local Active Directory).

Our domain name structure is XXX_ALL. When I try to add and account with
this domain in Pidgin, I get the error "Invalid XMPP ID".

Looking around I found this: http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/13305

What are my options now (assuming I can't change my company domain name)?

BTW - Spark (igniterealtime.org/projects/spark ) is working OK with this
configuration.

Thank you,
Roy.
