So, I have set up my AOL account so I can communicate with my AIM/AOL buddies and I do a search for them with their valid email's and it is telling me that they are not valid emails

It looks like there's something wrong with the integration between
your AIM account and your google talk account.
This is outside of the scope that Pidgin has any control over; you'll
have to seek support from google.
