Spellcheck

Hello,

I'm not sure how to get my spellcheck to work on my Pidgin IM. In the Preferences area, under the Conversation tab, it says that the option "Highlight misspelled words" is checked. I would assume that if that box was checked, than it should be working for me, but it's not. Any suggestions?
