open mail loading live.com and not hotmail.com

just installed pidgen, added my hotmail.com/msn account, when I get a new
email and I click open mail or open messages it sends me to the wrong site.
pidgen launches live.com instead of hotmail.com, is there a way to change
this? live.com controls my account settings after login while hotmail.com is
my actual email box.
