Chat Room IM Alert

Hi,

 

I have observed that, when I receive IM from a Chat Room, the icon in the Windows taskbar does not blink. Why is this so? Any configuration available to get this working ? 

 

Thousands use this chat room feature in pidgin, there should be a way for this!
