Join a Chat Auto Popup

Every time I click my Pidgin buddy list the "Join a Chat" pop up comes up and it says "Please enter the appropriate information about the chat you would like to join." It takes 4-5 clicks of the cancel button for it to finally leave. It makes the software nearly unusable.
