PIDGIN (VERSION 2.10)- YAHOO SMS

I have checked out Pidgin and really like it but. . . .    with my current IM program I can send "SMS" messages using my Yahoo protocol.  I can find no way to do that with Pidgin!    Pretty important to me so I'd liked to know if this functionality does exist for Pidgin or not.   Hope so but. . .
