Not Receiving Messages

Good Afternoon,

I am sending this email as it appears as though I am not receiving messages from other users.
I have had multiple people tell me that they have sent me messages via Pidgin but those messages
were never received by me. I am running 2.10.9. Is there anything I can do to correct this problem?
