Password Problem

I don't quite know how to log on to Pidgin. Years ago I had an ICQ and I
think an AIM account. I now have gmail accounts and don't know what
password Pidgin is looking for nor do I know the correct log in name. Am
rather frustrated and would appreciate some help asap as I am anxious to
use your program.

I don't even remember the old passwords and would like to start fresh but
was rejected when i tried a new one.
