google alias

[Spencer Luke]

I have an alias for my google gmail account-it's a regular gmail account
but the address reads like "johndoe at mybusiness.com, instead of
johndoe at gmail.com.  Is the alias usable in Pidgin?  I can't get it to
recognize that account.
