Message notification alert

Hello,

 

I have multiple chat rooms set up on my Pidgin account but I don't get
notification alert for these chat rooms like I do with my individual Buddy
account set up. When someone is saying something in the chat room, I don't
know about it unless I open the chat room conversation to check if anyone
has said something. How can I get automatic notification of the Pidgin
icon blinking? I searched your Help articles but did not find anything
there. Thank you for your help.
