Support request. Issues with Gtalk

Hello

I am trying to configure a Gmail account on pidgin to use with G talk (it's
actually to use with my snapengage account, which is set up for this Gmail
account).

However, on setting up the account, it automatically switches the protocol
from G Talk, to XMPP and this one is not compatible with Snap Engage.

I need some help configuring this .
