Help needed

Hello,

 

Every time I open Pidgin and then click on a contact it opens the dialogue box on the left side of the screen and really big.  I then adjust the size and location to where I want it to be and it works fine....until I close Pidgin, when I reopen it the box is back to the old location and size....this never used to happen, for the longest time my boxes were fixed and stayed how I wanted them..How do I fix this?
