Pidgin Opens and Closes right away Windows 10

Hello.  I have removed it and reinstalled several times.  I have temporarily turned off virus and firewall.  When I click on the icon, the IM window opens (unpopulated) and closes.  This all happens in about two seconds.  Any ideas?
