Pidgin Opens and Closes right away Windows 10

Hello,

I have worked on this for a few hours now and nothing is working as outlined on the link.  I did check processes in Task Manager and Pidgin is not running.  I have removed it,  deep cleaned the registry, reloaded it several times.  Still no joy.  Everything else works on my computer.  Pidgin worked for a month and now this.

I can’t spend any more time on this – I have to get to work so will deal with this when I have nothing to do (which is rare).  I have informed my management that I am off of Pidgin.

Hi Gene,

Could you check in Task Manager that Pidgin is or isn't running?

If it's not running, it could be crashing when it opens.  Just to double check, can you follow the instructions at https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/TipsForBugReports#ObtainingaDebugLog to get a debug log, and attach it along with the Pidgin.rpt file that lives at %appdata%\.purple in an email reply back to us.  Hopefully one of those two will shed some light on where the problem is.
