Unfortunately, no.
Several things could go wrong:
* Something on your computer interferes with the connection (I think somebody once had an issue with peerguardian installed)
* Your ISP messes with the connection
* The server does not like your IP address
* The server does not like your account
* You've been cursed by the elder gods
I would try installing an XMPP client on your mobile device and trying to connect from it, both via your wifi (same external IP and ISP) and turning wifi off via cellular data (different IP and ISP), to narrow it down.
You can also try the web client at https://chat.jabb.im/
and maybe check https://jabb.im/antispam/ (whatever it may be)
See if the Jabbim FAQ helps (Q. 4 in particular), and try their online support at https://chat.jabb.im/?r=jabber@chat.jabb.im&n=
or email them at support at jabbim.zendesk.com
In fact that should have been your first course of action, given that the problem manifests with multiple clients.
Also, try creating an account with a different server (jabber.at is the one I use) and see if you get the same issue with them.
As a last resort, sacrifice a black goat to Cthulhu.
Other than that, I'm out of ideas.
Maybe one of the other users on this list can offer something.
Good luck!
