An update for your Google Talk page:

 

As of 2022/06/12 16:00 CDT Google Talk is offline for Pidgin (several days
earlier than expected).

 

Google accomplished this by removing the fix we had to use years ago to
continue using Pidgin:  A "lowered security" setting for 3rd party program
access.

 

After removing that setting option, Google raised the security back up
behind the scenes without your permission, thereby blocking Pidgin yet
again.
