 For Oscar, try setting the port to 443 in the account settings - this is
 normally permitted to use HTTP CONNECT on most proxies (as it's required
 for https/SSL websites), and conveniently the Oscar servers listen on many
 ports, including 443 if I remember correctly.

 For MSN, try enabling "Use HTTP method" in the advanced options of the
 modify account dialog in Gaim. This will use HTTP CONNECT on port 443 and
 HTTP GET on port 80 - again, settings normally permitted by HTTP proxies

 For Yahoo, this is a valid enhancement request - they have an HTTP-like
 protocol that is not implemented in Gaim/Pidgin yet.
