 On attempting to start finch, I got complaints about
 $prefix/lib/perl/5.8.8/Gaim/Gaim.so and
 $prefix/lib/perl/5.8.7/Gaim/Gaim.so having unresolved symbols. This is
 probably because I have never run make uninstall as I have upgraded, but I
 suspect other people who compile will not have done so either.  Are we
 still generating a Gaim.so when we include perl support?
