 We currently install Purple.so and GtkUI.so, my guess is that you have
 perl plugins in ~/.gaim that try to 'use Gaim;' and are pulling in your
 old Gaim.so files, removing or fixing those plugins will likely silence
 those warnings. I'm hoping I'll be able to finish testing and commit a
 patch to move the GtkUI stuff to Pidgin, so we would have a Purple.so and
 Pidgin.so and plugins would be able to 'use Purple;' and 'use Pidgin;'
 rather than needing 'use Purple::GtkUI;' but we'll see when I get a chance
 to do that and how fast we move to release from this point.
