 a) 99% of the users is a pretty high estimate for people not understanding
 it. Led Zeppelin carries wide, global appeal crossing many different
 demographic bounds.

 b) It's quite translatable. Translators even get *instructions* on how to
 translate it:
         /* This is a cultural reference.  Dy'er Mak'er is a song by Led
 Zeppelin.
            If that doesn't translate well into your language, drop the 's
 before translating. */
