 Marv would be better able to answer, but last time I checked pidgin only
 supports the *primary* 'identity/profile' at the moment. This could be
 seen at least a few months ago when fiddling with the whiteboard sending
 to a non-primary contact (it'd wait for a reply from the primary.. or
 something like that).

 Beyond merely implementing this for Yahoo, from memory pidgin itself
 doesn't have any concept of 'multiple personality disorder' on a per-
 account basis. It'd probably take a fair bit of work to implement this
 properly. As far as I know, it's only one protocol that does this at the
 moment and as such probably wouldn't be a high priority for the core devs
 but I'm sure if someone came up with a diff... ;)
